I am an over-achieving jogger who has accomplished more in marathon running than I ever thought possible, and now I've turned my efforts to triathlons and am shooting for my first Ironman sometime in 2010. My hope is to inspire, encourage and motivate athletes of all ages and abilities.

LOL I've been sending that to everyone, thanks!
that's great! i remember my first marathon and i can completely relate - well, not to the last part.... :-)
Thank you Dr! You're on spot...just tough to put into action. Nice pic..you look great for an 'old' 47 year old guy (you have a few months on me!). ;)
The video is great...Everybody to relate to that!
:)
Funny video. I have a marathon tomorrow. I hope I am walking better than that on Monday. At least there are no stairs at my office.
Hmmmm... I cannot think that far ahead yet. My mind kind of stops in the vecinity of mile 20. With a little bit of imagination I can push myself mentally to the finish line. Beyond that is a blank. I will review the subject in due time, I am sure.
Great video and I hope that will be me soon
Robert that is truly awesome. i ran my first half marathon yesterday (2:46:40) but can honestly say that I'm not walking that way today, thank God.
We did walk by a guy yesterday on the way to our vehicle that had one of those strides already and my wife offered him some "ActiveOn" that I use for some immediate relief of sore areas and he was soooo thankful. I felt for him, he was lucky to have his wife and another friend to lean on for support.
That's great. I'm forwarding it on too. The last part is just too funny!
awesome video.. that even happens after a half-marathon for me!
